Scrabble 3 is a mobile version of the classic game.
This free-to-play Android device app developed by Electronic Arts (EA) has satisfying graphics and sound effects, but does depend on rather a lot of ads. It does allow you to play with other Scrabble players from all around the world, but if you don't have such a competitive streak, there is also a solo play mode.
People who love word games are bound to enjoy this mobile version of one of the world's most popular ones. Fun Scrabble fact: the game was first introduced in 1938 under the name "Criss-Crosswords."

You're given tiles that have a letter on them when the game begins. Your goal is to make words with the tiles that you have, drawing more tiles once you have used your letters. Each player has a turn trying to make a word. You can create words using some of the letters on the board or add letters to existing words to make them plural or in a past tense. If a word is created by the opponent that you don't think is real, you can call a challenge. This is an app ideal for those who have time to kill.
